Rodgers Christian Counseling Receives 2008 Best of Charlotte Award
U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., July 10, 2008 -- Rodgers Christian Counseling has been selected for the 2008 Best of Charlotte Award in the Marriage & Family Counselors category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

RCCA and Institute for Soul Healing Love Statement of Faith
We believe…
- The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the supreme and final authority in doctrine and practice.
- In the One and Only true God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections.
- In the full humanity and deity of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. We believe further in His eternal existence as God; His incarnation and virgin birth; His sinless life; His death on the cross as the subsitutionary atonement for sin; His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead after which He ascended to Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate; His present ministry of intercession in Heaven; and His personal, future return to earth.
- In the Holy Spirit who was sent to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt; He regenerates sinners who through him are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God; and He indwells, illuminates, guides, equips, and empowers believers for Christ-like living and grace.
- That man was created in the image of God and that all men have been separated from God through sin, by nature and by choice, and are unable to save themselves.
- That all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, by faith, have the indwelling power and grace of the Holy Spirit and will have eternal life in Heaven.
- That the true Church is comprised of all who are justified by God’s grace through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ. They are united in the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.
- In “that Blessed Hope,” the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At that time there will be the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust entering everlasting blessedness of the saved, and everlasting punishment of the lost.
- That as Christians, we are called to love God supremely and others sacrificially as we live out our faith with care and compassion toward one another.
